Faux suede is a synthetic material designed to mimic the look and feel of genuine suede. It’s generally more durable and easier to maintain than real suede, but it still requires proper care to keep it looking its best. Here are care instructions:

General Maintenance
Dust and Dirt Removal: Use a soft brush or a lint roller to gently remove dust and dirt from the surface.

Spot Cleaning:
Mix a small amount of mild detergent with lukewarm water.
Dampen a clean, white cloth with the solution, and gently blot the stained area. Avoid rubbing, as it may damage the fibers. Wipe with a separate damp cloth to remove soap residue, then let it air dry.

Stain Removal
For liquid spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth to absorb excess liquid, then follow the spot-cleaning process above.

For oil-based stains, sprinkle cornstarch or baking soda on the stain, let it sit for a few hours, and then gently brush it off before cleaning as usual.

For ink or stubborn stains, use a small amount of rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab and dab the stain lightly. Test in an inconspicuous area first.

Dealing with Odors
Sprinkle baking soda over the surface and leave it for a few hours to absorb odors. Brush it off with a soft brush or vacuum gently.

Steaming
If the faux suede appears wrinkled, use a steamer or hold it over a pot of boiling water at a safe distance to gently release wrinkles. Do not iron directly.

Storage
Store faux suede items in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent fading and cracking.
